Thigh Lift Surgery
Thigh Lift Surgery Fort Myers
FORT MYERS, NAPLES, BONITA SPRINGS & ESTERO, FLORIDA
A thigh lift procedure tightens and removes loose skin in the thigh and buttock region to make it appear more firm and youthful. It does not change the texture of the skin, but by gently stretching it the crepe paper texture of sagging skin becomes less noticeable.
If you think a thigh lift might the solution you’re looking for, call (239) 633-8819 to schedule a personal consultation with Dr. Mandraccia today.
The Thigh Lift Procedure
The thigh lift procedure Dr. Mandraccia performs can target the inner, outer thigh, or the buttocks region. The incision placement will depend on part of the thigh you would like to lift. For the inner thigh, Dr. Mandraccia will make the incision from the inner thigh up into to the bikini area. When targeting the outer thigh and buttocks, the incision may extend up the groin to the back.
Once Dr. Mandraccia has made the incision, a crescent-shaped area of skin will be removed, and the remaining skin will be gently pulled into its new positioning. If fat removal is also needed, Dr. Mandraccia will also perform liposuction on the target area before closing the incision.
Recovery from Thigh Lift Surgery
After the procedure you will experience some bruising, swelling, and discomfort. Dr. Mandraccia can control the pain by prescribing you an appropriate dose of pain medication. You should be able to return to work in approximately two weeks and resume exercise and all other normal activities in four weeks.
Dr. Mandraccia conducts most plastic surgery procedures under IV sedation, with certified nurse anesthesia, in the privacy of his own office. This office has been certified by the Florida Board of Health as meeting its strictest requirements. Patients can opt for general anesthesia in the surgery center located in our building, which is jointly owned by Lee Memorial and Naples Community Hospitals.
